Strife is contention, which all the time leads to a fight. Instead of harmony, strife fosters disputes, controversy, antagonism and lack of agreement. Nobody gets married for any of these reasons. Strife is bitter, and if not dealt with can escalate and make your marriage very bitter.

You are different from your spouse, your difference in interest and opinion should never result in conflicts.

With the wisdom of God you can handle strife and prevent it from affecting your marriage negatively. Strife hurts relationships.

Do not be oblivious of the fact that satan fires up strife, he works freely in this environment.

For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. James 3:16

Wherever there is strife satan has a foothold. Don’t allow satan a foothold in your relationship. Jesus will help you build a strife-free marriage.

Now you know strife is dangerous for your relationship, begin to stand against it from today. You have the Name of Jesus, pray and guard your marriage against strife.

You stand to enjoy your marriage just as God intends, as you eject strife.
