The mercy of God is one of His greatest virtues that we enjoy here on earth. God is a God of mercy, Jesus came so that we could partake more of this great attribute of God. The word mercy means unfailing love, kindness, tenderness, to show compassion, to have active desire to remove distress, forgiveness, generosity, and understanding. Anytime you ask God to have mercy on your relationship, you are saying He should remove your distress, be generous to you, be tender and kind to you.

In the Bible we see how people would come to Jesus in great desperation crying out for His mercies, and He always responded positively. We see in Matthew 9 the story of two blind men, following Jesus crying “Son of David have mercy on us” Jesus responded by asking them “Do you believe that I am able to do this” they answered “Yes Lord”.

Jesus then touched their eyes saying, “According to your faith let it be to you”. You will love this, the consequence of the demonstration of the mercy of God was that their eyes were opened.

You can benefit from the mercies of God today, it is available to you more than you can ever ask or think. The Bible says the reason man does not enjoy this great blessing that has the ability to turn your life and marriage around is either due to lack of faith and confidence or refusal to ask God for His mercies.

Do not go one second longer without the mercies of God. Thank God for His mercies, tell God you believe in it and are expecting it to show up in an extraordinary way in your marriage. God is longing to pour great mercies into your life, be a receiver. Your relationship will benefit in an awesome way.

Have faith in His mercies it will empower you to put every evil to flight, while making your marriage what God intended it to be, heaven on earth.
