You Don’t Have To Worry
In your marriage there come times
you face circumstances that are difficult and sometimes unpleasant. God is your
shepherd the great keeper and protector of His children, that
does not exempt your life and marriage from challenges. They will come without
a doubt, but God has promised never to leave or forsake you and your spouse.
Psalm 23 says even though you go through the valley of the shadow of death you
will still have no need to be afraid, for God is with you.
Acknowledge God in those difficult
times, whatever the case is, worrying wouldn’t help, practice throwing all your
cares upon the Lord. You do that by saying out,
something like this: Lord I thank you because I know you are with me, You are
the Most High God, therefore nothing is too hard for you. Through you Lord I
will come out of this situation victorious.
Stir up yourself in this manner as
many times as you need to. You will also realise that worrying puts pressure on
your marriage. Worry makes you irritated, it will
steal the joy of the Lord in your life and home. Worry is fertile ground for
blame, strife, anger and selfishness, they thrive so
well in this environment.
Make up your mind to terminate every trace of worry and anxiety in your life and marriage. With the power in the word of God and your conscious choice you can live worry free. Instead of magnifying what you are facing spend good time thinking about the greatness of the power of God and how much He loves you.
Quit worrying. Trust
in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all
your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths
Proverbs 3:5,6. As you feed on God’s faithfulness,
your confidence will increase and God will lead you into victory.
