Your marriage is of God, every family is named after Him. He is such a loving Father, full of all good things, which He has made available for His children to enjoy. The family of God is full of love, joy, forgiveness, peace, kindness, favour, victory, healing and all good things. He so wants your marriage to be full of all these.

Giving Jesus Lordship over your marriage is one of the things you need to do to avail yourself of all these. You can do this with your spouse or even alone.

Ask Jesus to come into your heart and take control of your life, let Him know that you need Him and would love His continuous presence in your life. If you have done that, go ahead and give your marriage to Him tell Him you know it could be much better with His help and guide.

Commit all the trouble spots to Him, especially areas you both have chosen never to revisit because you couldn't agree. Be open to Him, just as you wouldn't hide anything from your Doctor because you need his help to prevent further damage or cure for pain.

Jesus is faithful to heal your marriage by pouring His goodness into it and turning things around. Your marriage would become a story of God's goodness bringing great glory to God. God so wants to tell the whole world how good He is, and one the ways He intends doing this is through the victory you experience in your marriage.

Give Him the mess and He would turn it around, quit trying, He can do a much better job than you, it's time you give up and allow Him to lead you into a joy filled victorious and happy married life. You will be glad you did!
