A Fertile Farmland

Your marriage is just like a wonderfully fertile farmland with great potential. Your marriage has been created by God with the ability to accomplish and realise great levels of love and friendship, way beyond the ordinary.

Just as in all farmlands you need to understand your land, all land areas are not the same, you need to prepare the land and sow seeds in a way that would bring very high yields.

Your actions are the seeds, everyday you sow seeds into your farmland that grow and multiply. Think about this, every word, thought and action you make are all seeds that would grow.

If that is the case, just like the wise farmer, you need to consciously select your seeds in order to protect your marriage from seeds you don’t want. Sow kindness, joy, peace, patience, unity, and love.

Plan everyday just like the farmer would plan out his farmland and sow what he wants. Ask yourself what you want this week, get the seeds and go for it.

As you go on, if you find any crop growing that you did not plant or do not want, weed it out ASAP.
