God is a God of order. There are various spiritual laws and principles that govern our love walk with God. These principles relate to every area of our lives as couples. It is important that you know them. As in the case of every natural law, these spiritual laws under gird every other thing. Man has been able to store and harness electricity, a proper knowledge of these laws and how they operate has led to a lot of inventions. Examples of such natural laws, are the law of gravity and the law of lift.

God has put in His word financial principles you need to know and obey. He has your good at heart, it is not His intention that your marriage suffers from the financial pressure that normally burdens couples. One of the ways God has planned to bless you is as you obey the law of tithing.

In Leviticus 27:30 the Bibles says the tithe is holy unto the Lord, meaning it is sacred, divine and to be hallowed. Ten percent of your income belongs to the Lord. It is His. God demands that all His children honour Him with ten percent of their income (Proverbs 3:9).

God wants to bless you as you obey Him. God does not want from you, He wants for you. Be smart and seek ways of obeying, and watch God bless you. If you have been tithing already, renew your heart with the word of God so you can begin to experience the blessings God promised, in a greater measure.

As you tithe God will rebuke every waste and the ways the devil drains your income, for example sickness. He promises to favour you greatly in every area of your life. As you obey God He will make the 90% go much further than the 100% would have gone (Malachi 3:10-12).

Be wise and pay your tithe and let God surprise you.
