Be An Example

Sometimes you might find you are under pressure due to your inability to make your spouse realise how important something is to you. Rather than nag, at any and every opportunity, be an example. Your actions and examples will speak a lot louder and better than your words. Do things to and for your spouse the way you want it done to you.

When a lot of effort is put into trying to make your spouse do something for you, there is usually a very strong likelihood that you begin to fall short in other areas.

Focus on being a good example, this will surely require more effort on your part, encourage yourself keep at it, speak less and do more. This is also a very powerful weapon in the hand of the Holy Spirit, you give God a tool to use in touching the heart of your spouse.

When you speak less and go ahead to serve your spouse with joy and gladness in the very area you have been deprived, you are saying to God I surrender to You, You do it I know You can do a much better job than I.

Be willing to go on irrespective, love never fails, your actions will be light in your marriage, for your spouse to see, it will bring direction and set a standard for how things should be.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV).

Do not lose heart, you can keep doing it through Christ, and it is wonderful to know there is great hope, your labour of love will bring forth a bountiful harvest. Do things with joy and gladness in your heart, ask God to enable you to do them with joy, and expect the power of God to breakthrough and bring you victory.

Hold on change is coming you can make it. Strive to be your best.
