Don’t Forget Each Other

Christmas is a season of gifts. It is all about gifts of course ultimately the gift of Jesus Christ.

Each gift has a voice, it speaks, it is an action that is saying something, an action of love. Long after you have received a gift, whenever you see it, it says something to you about how you are loved and remembered by someone.

You probably have a long list of people you need to get gifts for this Christmas, as you fulfill them it is important that your spouse/partner is part of the list. It is good, necessary and important. Don’t forget to get each other a gift.

Your gift is saying and will continue to speak words like, you matter to me, I care about you, I love you, you are on my mind, I appreciate you etc. In the same way your inaction speaks as well.

You are better off giving something little than not giving at all, it is better late than never, and if you are not sure of what to give, ask your spouse.

There is a place for words and another special role that gifts play in your relationship, your gift represents a lot of special and precious things.

Your words will do things your gifts can’t do and your gifts does things your words can’t convey.

Say something this Christmas, let your action and gift speak for you.
