Be Thankful

No matter how horrible things may get it is never hopeless. As long as you have life and you can keep trusting God, you are never beyond His reach, nothing is impossible to you as long as you keep believing in Him.

What the devil wants to do is shut you away from this truth, he knows whenever your heart and mind is shut off from the truth sadness creeps in, all you see is the dark side, the gloomy side at such times blaming each other and grumbling becomes prevalent.

Joyful people on the other hand have something to be thankful for, and thankfulness would keep you joyful even in the most difficult of times.

Thanksgiving empowers you and brings the power of God into the situation.

Thank God for something, there is always something to thank God for, the devil is a liar and the father of it, the voice you keep hearing telling you how bad life has been for you is the devil and all he wants to do is keep you from trusting in God and to discourage you.

When you cease to be thankful and joyful, you most likely develop a wrong attitude towards God, your confidence and faith in the goodness of God reduces and the result is the blessings of God become a rare thing, not because God is angry with you on the contrary you become angry at God and draw away from Him.

God is a good God, when the blessings seem hard to get know that God is not trying to punish you it is satan trying to prove God wrong in your life.

Shame his efforts by choosing to be thankful, you are not thankful for the bad things, you are thankful because you know God would never forsake you.

With thankfulness comes joy, with joy comes love and faith and with faith comes the blessings of God.

Now that you know what the devil’s tricks are, as soon as situations start getting difficult, do not fall for his deception, know it is time to increase your thanksgiving and joy.

By thanking God and increasing in joy soon you will have double for your trouble. Don’t fall to blaming and complaining start thanking God for the good and be in faith and expectation for the blessings ahead.

Your relationship will be happier and stronger the more you learn to thank God, if the devil can’t stop you from being thankful he can’t hold your blessings.
