Aim For This

Contentment is something you ought to long for in your relationship. To be contented is more than being satisfied, it also means to desire to be satisfied, to look forward to opportunities to find comfort, ease, fulfilment and happiness.

One who wants to be content is easy to please, cheerful, peaceful, and uncomplaining. Does not grumble or complain at the fault and shortcomings of their spouse, but wants to help by contributing in anyway possible to make their spouse do better.

A contented person does not seek answers through disputes or quarrels.

One who is content is grateful for the seemingly little things, he or she does not belittle anything, but knows great strength and the willingness to do better comes through gratitude and encouragement.

A contented person does not just wait to be satisfied but knows he or she has a role to play in helping their spouse to please and satisfy them.

As you long to be contented and are quick to express it when you are satisfied you encourage your spouse to know it is fun pleasing you and you bet your spouse would want to do more.
